Our FreeRoll ‘Super’ Rose Jointed Air Ride/Hydraulic spring plates are a perfect match up to an independent non-torsion bar based T1 rear suspension setup.
An upgrade over stock style plates that use traditional bushings, these use a high grade Teflon/Kevlar lined Chromoly Rose Joint, fixed in place with a super strong twin-plate mount and M20 size fixings. Designed for those running high power or performance style suspension, these plates can deliver a more planted feel to the rear suspension.
Our own ‘03 Mexican Beetle runs these plates, alongside a premium rear air suspension kit and Spax shock absorbers. The rear is kept well in check even under heavy launches!
With the perfect shaping to clear the chassis bump stops, the absolute best lows are possible. Also, with a slight extension in length over stock plates, the wheel toe alignment/tracking can be set properly, even at low drive heights.
Please note, these are 'splineless' spring plates, and WILL NOT work with original torsion bars, or our AirSistive rear air kit. For Independent non-torsion bar systems only!
